Baby Shower

Last month my friends gave me the best baby shower!! I am so thankful to have all of these ladies in my life!!! George is a blessed little boy!!

26 Weeks!

How Far Along: 26 Weeks!

Size of Baby: Size of a Head of Lettuce!

Maternity Clothes: Yep!

Gender: BOY!

Name: George

Movement: Yep! You can even see my tummy move sometimes!

Sleep: Still off and on. I'm starting to notice if it can be really cold in the room and I don't have heartburn I sleep better :)

Cravings: This past week was fruitloops!!!! 

What I Miss: Drinking wine at Thanksgiving!

Symptoms: Still some hip pain and dry sinuses!

Best moment this week: I had a doctors appointment and got to hear little man's heartbeat!! 

25 Weeks!

How Far Along: 25 Weeks! Picture was taking while making Cinnamon Rolls Saturday...that is why I look so beautiful :)

Size of Baby: Size of a Cauliflower!

Maternity Clothes: Yep!

Gender: BOY!

Name: George

Movement: Oh yes! He has even woken me up in the middle of the night!!

Sleep: I had one great night where I slept through the entire night!! I didn't have to get up to pee or anything!! 

Cravings: Still sugar...trying to find healthy alternatives for it!! But I think I could eat a cake everyday!

What I Miss: Being able to zip up a coat :/

Symptoms: Had some carpal tunnel pain this week. I can also tell my hip joints are a little looser...kind of awkward!  

Best moment this week: George's bedding and draps came in so I started putting that up!!

24 Weeks

How Far Along: 24 Weeks

Size of Baby: Size of a Cantaloupe!

Your 10.5-to-11.8-inch fetus weighs about 12.7 to 20.8 ounces and every week he gets closer and closer to being ready to survive (and thrive!) in the outside world.

Maternity Clothes: Yep!

Gender: BOY!

Movement: Oh yes! Lots of flipping and kicking

Sleep: Its been ok this past week. 

Cravings: Sugar still!!!

What I Miss: Not to much.

Symptoms: I have had really bad sciatic pain lately. I'm still going to physical therapy so hopefully everything will start to get under control.

Best moment this week: Getting some of George's bedding!

23 Weeks

How Far Along: 23 Weeks

Size of Baby: Size of a Large Mango !

"Turn on the radio and sway to the music. With his sense of movement well developed by now, your baby can feel you dance. And now that he's more than 11 inches long and weighs just over a pound, you may be able to see him squirm underneath your clothes. Blood vessels in his lungs are developing to prepare for breathing, and the sounds that your baby's increasingly keen ears pick up are preparing him for entry into the outside world. Loud noises that become familiar now — such as your dog barking or the roar of the vacuum cleaner — probably won't faze him when he hears them outside the womb."

Maternity Clothes: Yep!

Movement: Lots of kicking!!! During the Bama game on Saturday he would start squirming when the band would play!! 

Sleep: Pretty good

Cravings: Water!!

What I Miss: I needed a glass of wine this week!!

Symptoms: Still the reflux and hip pain :(. I started going to physical therapy to get the hip problem figured out. I also had Braxton Hicks contractions for the first time! 

Best moment this week: Worked on the registry!

22 Weeks

How Far Along: 22 Weeks

Size of Baby: Size of a Spaghetti Squash!

At 11 inches and almost 1 pound (1lb 2oz for George!!) your baby is starting to look like a miniature newborn. His lips, eyelids, and eyebrows are becoming more distinct, and he's even developing tiny tooth buds beneath his gums. His eyes have formed, but his irises (the colored part of the eye) still lack pigment.

Cravings: Water!!

What I Miss: I needed a glass of wine this week!!

Symptoms: Still the reflux and hip pain :(. I will be going to physical therapy to get the hip problem figured out. I also had Braxton Hicks contractions for the first time! 

Best moment this week: Getting to see my little man!! He was flexing him muscles for us!! 

21 Weeks

How Far Along: 21 Weeks!! (last week)

Size of Baby: Size of a Carrot!

Maternity Clothes: Yep!

Movement: Oh yes!!

Sleep: Pretty good this week 

Cravings: Halloween candy!! But that is something I have always had! 

What I Miss: Not too much this week :)

Symptoms: Still having reflux..but I am starting to figure out how to manage it! I have also started having bad hip pain in my left hip. I have scoliosis which has always caused some hip discomfort...but it is pretty intense now. So we will see what the doctor says!!  

Best moment this week: I bought diapers for the first time!!!

Gender Reveal Party

The Sunday after we had our gender ultrasound we did the Gender Reveal Party! I have to give a big shout out to my best friend Sarah who came up and took pictures for me!!! The party was great! We loved having our family there to celebrate baby George with us!!! How we revealed the gender was by having the people who thought it was a girl on one side and boy on the other. Everyone had cans of silly string(that were filled with blue silly string), and I counted to 3 and everyone sprayed each other to find out!! It was sooo much fun!!! Here is the photo dump of the party!!
