I Moved to Kansas City, MO!!!

I got offered a GREAT job in KC last month! I had gone up in April twice to interview with them and they called and offered me the job while I was driving to Tuscaloosa after the tornados! I told them I could start May 25th in order to give me some time to get everything in order. So Sadie and I have packed up and moved to the Midwest!

Packing up all of my crap a few of my things was definitely a process, this is how it worked: Some of my stuff was at mom's and some was at dad's. Since dad was drive everything out to KC, our main goal was to get everything from mom's to dad's. So after 20 a few trips to Decatur we had everything at the right house. Our next mission was to put everything from the garage to the UHaul. Thankfully we had my nephew Eli there to help us :) I don't know what we would have done with out him! He kept walking around all the bags and boxes saying "Eli help!" I would like to give a BIG shout out to everyone who helped with this crazy process!!!

Once everything was packed up, Dad headed out on his drive to KC! He drove half way, stopped to stay the night, then finished his trip the next day. Dad stayed that week to help us unpack and get settled. We all had a great time while he was here! I am so glad he got to come up and see the city! We got to show him some cool things about KC, but we couldn't do it all, so Kris and I are already planning his next trip!

 John's Big Deck didn't have t-shirts so we settled with a picture by the sign
