Sadie Went to the Flint Hills

This past weekend we loaded up and headed to the Hoagland's place in the Flint Hills! It also happen to be my birthday Saturday! So I got to ride horses, eat a lot, hang out with friends, ride four wheelers, and shoot guns on my birthday...that makes for a pretty awesome day! The reason for this bog title is that most of my pictures were of Sadie. This was her first time to be around horses and cows and LOTS of land to roam about...so I had to record everything! Natalie took a lot of pictures of everything else so here is her post! But here are the ones I took...

Girl Time!

The rest of us humans had a pretty darn good time. Natalie and I got to take the horse out ridding and afterwards thought we would treat the horses to a little dip in the pond! Well my horse, Red, took that literally! So after an amazing acrobatic dismount, I thought it wasn't that bad, I mean I landed standing. Well lets just say the next thing I remember I have fallen down, sitting in water up to my waist in sticky mud (I really hope it was mud!), and Natalie crying laughing! This was the end result:

Red probably gave me the best gift....he made me feel young!
